The simple concept of Good and Evil perplexes me more than any other concept, it is a presence that is nowhere, yet everywhere. What defines Good and Evil? How did this even begin? What defines these forces? Why do these questions swarm like bees in my head? I haven’t a clue. I suppose I could go into the “Yin and Yang” sort of theory, without one, the other would not exist. It would make sense, however Yin and Yang also would represent female and male, hot and cold, low and high etc., but wouldn’t that stand for harmony? So how would, as many see it to be, Good and Evil be at harmony while it’s almost they’re at constant battle?

How would you even describe these forces, let alone label them? Is it defined by social evaluation, mental, emotional, or physical? How do you know if you’re good or evil your selves? We all wish to see ourselves as the good guys, but in the end we’re both, no human is perfect. Perhaps that’s why we are human. Maybe it’s due to of these emotions, to all of our experiences, or even to the limited knowledge we ourselves possess of the universe. Were we bound never to learn of the knowledge we own today? Or perhaps that’s another question, I should wait for another to contemplate, someone within further grasp of the thoughts and questions that are too advanced with in my generation.

Back to the subject at hand… where did all of this begin? How is it good and evil is possible? I believe the reason behind these invisible forces is indeed the fact that we are Human. To be Human, means to carry the first factor of it is the innocence of an infant, we have no knowledge yet, only our mammal instincts, which may sound like a harsh way to word it, but in the end we are animals technically, only highly advanced animals. Perhaps that was what went wrong, knowledge, perhaps that’s where the concept comes from, from our knowledge. However the question I leave for my readers is this: could it be possible?
